You've done the complete research and shortlisted car models you want. But what about the trim? What's the difference between an LS and an LT? A Premier and a Platinum? And how do you know which one is right for you?

 

In this post, we'll break down Chevrolet's car trims and explain their differences to help you make an informed decision.

 

L- Trim

The entry-level trim for Chevrolet cars is the L-trim. This trim is designed for drivers looking for an essential car with few bells and whistles. The L-trim comes standard with air conditioning, power windows, and power locks. Most models come with standard infotainment systems equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

LS - Trim

The LS trim is the next step up from the L-trim. This trim adds a few more features to the mix, offering packages unavailable in the L-Trim. The packages include the Convenience package, interior protection package, and more. The added features are an upgrade from the features available in the base model. Some LS-Trim models also come with larger chrome wheels.

RS - Trim

The RS-Trim is a sporty-looking model. It features a blacked-out grille, 18-inch aluminum wheels, and dual exhaust tips. This trim level does not offer many packages but comes standard with unique features like a rear spoiler, sporty body kit, and upgraded brakes.

 

If you prefer an RS, then Equinox is the one for you!

 

Premier

The Premier trim is the top-of-the-line model for most Chevy vehicles. It comes with features like heated front seats, ventilated front seats, dual-zone automated climate control, and a top infotainment system. The Premier trim is only available on select models.

High Country

This trim is only available on Chevrolet Traverse, Tahoe, Silverado, and Suburban models. It is the most luxurious and expensive option that Chevrolet offers. It comes with standard features like a Bose premium audio system, heated second-row seats, perforated leather-appointed upholstery, etc. You can also expect modern LED lighting and a unique chrome grille design.
